Find Your Golden Thread
If you knew listening and responding to the deeper part of yourself could become a solution to global warming, racial injustice, economic inequality, systemic biases, and environmental degradation, how would you feel? If you discovered caring for yourself and others could have a similar effect, would this bring you a sense of hope?
The Unwritten Book focuses attention on our interdependent relationship with Nature when she weaves the threads of our lives with her unifying patterns. An overlooked aspect of our human nature is we come from Nature. There are many unanswered questions. What is the connection? How do we express it or how do we live those patterns to do our work? How would living more integrated existences enhance an overall sense of well-being? Who are we when we are mutually related and mutually defined by the one and many expressions of Nature?
Clues to these questions can be found in the subtexts of personal stories. Embedded in the histories we identify are out-of-the-ordinary universal experiences. These reflect how we are unconsciously sensing, feeling, and responding to being mutually related and mutually defined. The subject of The Unwritten Book: An Organic Personal Conscious Evolution can be seen in the mirror of your own responses to your unique universal self-impulses and attractions. This part of your life is called a golden thread calling. The purpose of the book is to help you explore and follow your thread. It involves trusting and having faith in a typically unexplainable direction. Along the way you may discover the rest of your life is taking care of itself—almost magically.
I am a mother, weaver, gardener, and a conscious evolutionary. This describes the multi-faceted process of following my individual golden thread. It is the hardest thing I have done and is still very much ongoing. What I have discovered is this: the main conscious evolutionary step is healing personal trauma from feeling disconnected rather than involved with a natural system which maintains, sustains, and develops as a whole. Each installment of the blog The Unwritten Book and You is a whisper—a breath of fresh air. Imagine what could happen if we were fully seen, heard, and valued for who we truly are? It would make all the difference in the world.
